Hailing from Lake Mary, Florida, Adede (she/her/hers) received her A.B. in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy and a citation in Spanish language from Harvard College. During her undergraduate career, she conducted research in the Nibert Lab where she studied double-stranded RNA viruses that infect the protozoan parasite Trichomonas vaginalis, culminating in her senior thesis. She joined the Hollenhorst Lab in 2023 as a research assistant, eager to further her skills as a researcher and dive into the world of glycobiology. Outside of the lab, Adede enjoys singing with the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College, taking walks along the Charles River, and trying new restaurants in the Boston area.
